The system includes an
interface that allows the health care provider to enter new information or
access information about a patient instantaneously. In addition, graphs and
reports about the patient can be generated quickly to review with the patient
during an appointment.
Mission Medical Technologies is designing this system to be able to use a
digital pad. This pad will allow the health care professionals to access all
patient information with the same carrying size of a single patient file. The
digital pad will be able to take patient notes via dictation and allow the user
to directly write information into entry fields. For health care professionals
that work from home, the system will also be able to access patient information
from home or on the road. For those who make rounds away from the clinic, the
system will allow health care professionals to take their patients' information
with them for easy access while at the hospital!
